Laser prostate surgery, also known as laser prostatectomy or laser ablation of the prostate, is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition characterized by an enlarged prostate gland. This enlargement can cause symptoms such as urinary frequency, urgency, weak urine flow, difficulty starting urination, and incomplete emptying of the bladder.
